[Dxbase] My summary window dilemma

Just one other thought, if you haven't already done this, you might check on
a bios update for that computer. I see on the web that there have been some
issues with that cpu and there are some bios updates out there if you happen
to be using an outdated bios.

Subject: Re: [Dxbase] My summary window dilemma
I am not a computer expert, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express (tm)
last night.
However, I am still running XP Pro on the radio computer and have done so
with both AMD and Intel processors. In fact, I have done so with several
AMD configurations.
And in each instance with AMD, there came a point in time where I can only
describe the computer as acting "flaky" including the operation of DXbase.
Since switching to an Intel MB and processor, I have had no such problems.
This is not meant as an indictment of AMD, just my personal observation.
And I was never able to pinpoint why I had the "flaky" behavior.
In any event, I hope you will be able to work it out.
