ALL:
Well, after rcving emails from CDROM users (DXbase users) - it is well apparent that
the best way to describe the final words about the RAC / QRZ / HAMCALL(Buckmaster)
CDROM lookups is that "if" the Callsign is FOUND in the CDROM lookup - and - "if"
the record contains the Lat/Lon coordinates - then DXbase WILL use that Lat/Lon info!!
DXbase will at that time display incorrect Beam Headings and Distances - but, the other
info such as State/QTH/County, etc -- will be populated all ok -- if you selected those
to populate (in the User Options) ..
This flaw in DXbase will have to be corrected in a future release - as there is NO
immediate cure -- except to TURN-OFF the CDROM Lookups - which you might not
want to do.
Just FYI
