If people do not know about dropbox, they should go immediately to
www.dropbox.com and sign up. Then install dropbox on all of the computers
you use. The neat thing about dropbox is that when you put a file in its
designated folder on your hard drive, it copies that file to any other
computer you have within seconds (depending on your broadband speed) so you
have not only a backup on the servers at dropbox but you have a copy of it
everywhere you install the dropbox software.
Another great feature is that it stores previous versions of the files, so,
for instance, you apply some changes to your log that positively hoses it
up, you can just get the previous version from dropbox.
I use it on my development systems and it truly syncs within seconds.
