Fortunately, my data is backed up and I run the program off of a laptop. Actually two back-ups, one to the other computer and an external HD. So, I'm not crying.

>Steve, I second everyone else. I have a newer Dell XPS quad-core duo
desktop that came with Vista. All of that horsepower and I can't run my
old Mathcad, Autocad Lite, and most importantly, MultiNEC. I have
recently installed a second hard drive and installed XP on it. I will
be building a hardware switch to select which drive boots at power up,
to get this functionality back, but this is a PITA (as is trying to run
XP under Virtual PC.)
I have a new Lenovo T400 laptop on order, to replace my old Toshiba
Tecra logging machine, with the XP "downgrade" ( boy do they have that
backwards). Vista is okay for most things but running legacy software
isn't one of them.
