[Dxbase] IC-746pro

 Changing the baud rate to 19200 in the 746p and DXB cured the problem.
Settings are 19200, none, 8, 1, RTS high. Also address is 66h in the 746p.

If I can find the problem, I'll post it. I have the baud rate set for 
auto and the address is 66h. Will probably be Monday before I play with this
problem agn. DXBase is the only program where there is a problem with the 
IC-746p. Also, the IC-7000 and IC-756p work FB.

A friend of mine just bought a 746 Pro and he is having trouble 
getting it to respond to DXBase 2007. I downloaded the manual from 
the Icom site and see that the you can set the address by going to 
the set-mode...item 36 sets baud rate and 37 is the address. My 
friend's radio was set to 66h which appears to be what is in the .ini 
file. If you get an answer, I hope you'll post it to the
