As a card checker I can tell you they are fairly easy to spot over
time as the cards end up not being of uniform size, colour, etc. so
if you see several of them go past you even over a period of months
it would raise a question mark.
There is no question that the first few to go through might get
through but most of us if we kept seeing a variety of card sizes and
hand cut cards would flag this sort of thing to the DXCC Desk. They
in turn would have to decide what to do. Probably request a few of
the cards be sent in for a physical checking and once you have 20 or
so cards on hand it would become vary easy to spot. Remember there is
no consistency when different printers and inks are used even if the
original file is the same PDF.
