[Dxbase] Oblasts - DXbase 2007 wish list

Good question Ron. I worked the Russian DX contest last year and most of
the cards I received contained an RDA indicator, rather than an Oblast
designator. I think the Oblast awards are being replaced by RDA awards???
Anyway, I entered the RDA numbers into the Special-1 field thinking I would
use the Wizard later to pull them out for a report when needed. Well, guess
what? My thinking was more than half-a-bubble off, because in the Wizard
filter there are only "=" operators, no wild cards such as "?" or "*". My
Special-1 field is filled out as "RDA:AA-nn" where the AA is the 2 character
alpha portion and the nn is the 2 character numeric portion. The problem is
there are lots of different RDA identifiers so trying to have the Wizard
find something with an "=" operator doesn't cut it! Now I have to rethink
my logic.
How about a DXbase 2007 improvement to add wildcards or other Wizard filter
options beside just "equals"? Then I could search the Special-1 field for
"RDA*" and pick up all records that started with RDA regardless of what
followed. Any chance of this happening Jack?
