Hello all,.
I have a Yaesu FT-847 that I'm trying to get to work with DXbase. What I've
tried already:
1. I know the FT-847 takes a null-modem serial cable instead of a regular
straight-through cable. I have a null modem cable, which I've verified with
an ohmmeter (pins 2 >3, 3 > 2, etc.), but it doesn't work. I've also tried
a regular cable and that doesn't work either.
2. I know that the comm rate can be set in the FT-847. I left it set at its
default 4800 baud and set DXbase to match.
3. I know the PC serial port is working because I when I connect it to my
FT-1000MP with the straight-through serial cable, DXbase controls it OK.
Is anyone else using an FT-847 with DXbase? Anything else to check?
