[Dxbase] Internet Packet

Hi Greg,
There seems to be some kind of software update being made that is clobbering
one or more of the standard Microsoft .dll files. We have seen about four
reports of this lately but so far nothing seems to be in common. We did
contact Microsoft and they assure us that they have no software updates to
their products that would overwrite a standard .dll with something that is
non backward compatible. So we are at a loss. Maybe its some obscure virus
not yet identified. Just don't know. In any case, all four reports were
resolved by reinstalling the OS on top of itself. All of the reports so far
involved XP.
Regards,
Jack
