[Dxbase] The Curious Case of the Missing QSOs

So the question remains...if you have 133,560 valid for DXCC contacts,
and you think you have submitted them all, then why does LoTW report you
have about 20,000 fewer.
With that many 'missing' from the LoTW is should be fairly easy to pick
at random Q's from you log and you should quickly find some which are
not in the LoTW, since roughly 1 in 7 Q's in your log must not be in the
LoTW. I would start by doing some checking and see if this is
confirmed. If it is, and it would seem it must be the case, then can
you see some common characteristic among the Q's which didn't get to the
LoTW? Perhaps you had something set in the selection wizard which
caused it to skip quite a few. If you could find such a reason then you
could select just those and submit them. I doubt if you will be so
lucky however!
Another thing you can do is go to the LoTW 'Your Account' and select
'Your Activity'. In your case this could be a lot of entries, however
for each entry if you click on 'Results' you can see how many Q's were
submitted for each such submission. It will take some time, but you
could add them up and see if they total roughly 133,520 or possibly
20,000 fewer.
I have been told that resubmitting Q's to the LoTW does no harm, Q's
that are already in there are not replaced, since the replacement would
be identical. And Q's that are not there are added properly. Since you
already confirmed that the selection wizard selected 133,560 Q's, you
could run it and 'resubmit' them. If after doing that you still have
roughly 113,000 Q's in the LoTW sounds like the issue would have to be
taken up with them.
I have resubmitted Q's where in error I had used the wrong CQ Zone, but
everything else was identical. The effect was not to produce two
entries, but just one with the zone corrected. Of course this re
submittal was not on such a massive scale, but it would seem that the
same principle would apply. I guess you could ask the LoTW before you
flooded them?
