As a matter of fact, yes. We have two HF-capable radios in our club shack. 
A Yaesu FT-847 and a Kenwood TS-440S. It's been stated time and again that 
many of our older members can't understand the 847 (it was originally 
bought for its satellite capabilities not HF) and will go to the 
easy-to-understand 440. Our club isn't a DX club or a contest club -- it's 
in a science museum and is more a social entity tied together by the thread 
of amateur radio.
