[DXBase] G/GD LoTW import going wrong

Hello:
I don't really know much about ADIF, but a little research reveals the
following:
All the .adi files that I use (EXCEPT for the lotw download) do NOT have an
entry for "DXCC". In other words, when I load logs into DXbase, there is no
imbedded DXCC assignment - the DXbase program maps the country, and doesn't
look for a country assignment within the .adi file. The "lotwreport.adi"
file that you downloaded from the LoTW website (I assume that's what you're
referring to), DOES have a "DXCC" entry. Not sure why it's there, as DXbase
wouldn't look there for the country assignment. There always will be some
odd callsigns for which you'll have to change the country assignment
manually in DXbase. Had you updated your callsign file when you worked and
logged GB2OIM initially, you would have achieved the expected result from
the LoTW .adi file, I think...
Very 73 Stu
