[Dx-qsl] qsls printed from QRZ

I worked a DX station who told me..."I don't have cards, and don't want 
any."
"You can go to QRZ.com and copy the 'signed' qsl card that's there".
"Fill in the data and use that."
"I maintain a log, so it can be verified if asked."
That was his statement and that's what's also on the QRZ.com listing for 
him.
I'm very reluctant to do this.
As I'm pretty sure the ARRL desk would not accept this, even if he was 
willing to verify the qso/qsl via email if asked to do so.
Just curious, has anyone ever received credit for such a qsl?
This was a new challenge band mode for me.
I emailed the DXCC desk asking this question but did not get a reply.
