Why not? Your "financial status or contribution" figures in to everything
else in your life, as it does with all of us.
Some of us are better off financially than others... fact of life. Some
guys out there drive a Lexus, push their signals out from ICOM 7800's into
stacked beams on 120-foot towers, and support DXpeditions with 500ドル and
higher contributions. I drive a Toyota, am thrilled with a 3L at 50 feet at
the end of the coax, and sent 20ドル. Why shouldn't the guy that sends more
get a nicer card, or get it sooner, than I do? He earned it, same as he
earned his other nice stuff. Otherwise, how could DXpeditions ever motivate
the kind of major fundraising it takes these days to do something like Peter
One?
If you HAD to contribute money to get a card at all, I'd agree with you
Danny, it would be like "buying" a card... and we all know of a few ops in
that business, eh? But I think it's a great idea that the more you
contribute, the sooner you get your card, and maybe even a nicer card to
boot.
