[Dx-qsl] buro cards

Life was much simpler in the 'Good Ole' days, everyone sent QSL cards,
whether it was the Ham across town that you worked on 75M or the one from
'Down Under' on 20M.
No envelopes needed in those days, you just slapped a 'cheap' stamp on the
back of the hard cardboard card, addressed it and dropped it in the mailbox.
The return card normally crossed yours in the mail.
Must have been the soft warm glow of the vacuum tubes, or maybe the
comforting hum from the output transformer, that kindled the giving spirit
generating the 'final courtesy' of the QSO.
Oh well! That was loooong ago.
I must shuffle out the door and stagger down the road for my health walk,
but first a glass of warm milk.
