[Dx-qsl] A Scoundrel in our Midst?

Actually, I sent all the cards out in envelopes without my return stamp in 
the upper left hand corner; the recipients only knew the postmark was 
Jackson, MS. My thinking was that I often get DX cards from U.S. hams; I 
oft times don't know if they were forwarded or if they are the as yet 
unannounced U.S. QSL manager. Therefore, I guess for selfish reasons, I 
did not want anyone to think I was (or am) the stateside manager for this 
Russian amateur.
I did think it odd, in retrospect, that a Russian amateur who can afford a 
nice rig and antenna system AND has dial-up Internet access from home (not 
using the normal 'wireless cafe') would depend upon a U.S. amateur to pass 
his cards on.
I suspect most of the cards I forwarded were from direct card requests 
received in Russia; most were recent contacts with contesters and DXers 
for which I am in friendly competition.
