[Dx-qsl] QSLing Complaint (or Rant)

Assuming of course that this wasn't an accident (ie someone accidently
stuffed two cards in one envelope), well, yes it's an annoyance, but one we
can live with.
Could be worse... I had one DX station send me a card for someone else along
with an IRC to cover the postage. Nice of him, right? I thought so until I
realized that it was an unstamped IRC, so it's effectively worthless.
But... so it goes. It makes a nice souvenir if nothing else!

Guys,
I know I'm "preaching to the choir" here and I try not to
clutter the reflector with pointless complaints, but on the off chance
that it might reach someone who needs to hear it..here goes.
I received a envelope today (I won't mention the station) that
included a card for another U.S. ham along with my card. Geez that
annoys me! At least in some cases I've had managers put a note like
"please forward", include the other guys SAE or even include a stamped
envelope ready to drop in the U.S. mail. But there is no excuse for just
tossing a card in like this guy did! It honestly annoys me less to get a
direct card back via the buro than to have this happen!
If anyone knows W8OLI you can let him know that he will (of
course) get his 3X card from me, and hopefully if he's ever in this spot
he will do the same for someone else.
Regards,
George (K8QM)
