Many of these "unanswered requests" are intercepted prior to them ever
getting to their destination.
While there are a (fortunately very) few amateurs who seem to "collect"
green stamps & IRC's, most of those with less than stellar QSL reputations
are never getting the incoming mail in the first place. Must be frustrating
for them -- some of them QSL 100% of what they get, but get less than 5% of
what's sent to them in the first place.
And before someone brings it up: Yes, a NA or EU QSL manager would
alleviate the problem, but for a large variety of reasons to lengthy to go
into (including but not limited to lack of trust & wounded pride) some of
these stations won't go for it.

I've tried twice, July last year with an SAE and IRC and January this year
with SASE and greenstamp. Nothing so far. Luckily I did receive 5N1BHF via
OE6LAG in 16 days!
I wonder what happens to these unanswered requests ......
