Per the Int'l Mail Manual, updated as of April 4, 2002, the following is
stated:
"the period of exchange of international reply coupons issued by the
Universal Postal Union on or after January 1, 1975 is unlimited'.
You could read this to mean they never go bad, but for the moment, I'd
rather suggest that it means they're currently good! The DXpedition team
needs to, if they want, refer the Postal employee to the appropriate section
(373) of the IMM. There is a lot of confusion about IRCs, primarily because
the postal clerk does not deal with them like they do 34 cent
stamps.....especially the redemption, as they're basically a 'ham currency'
at least to us!
