Most of the old transmitters used a "Dow-Key" brand coaxial relay
externally. These were engaged from a relay in the transmitter usually
from a jack on the back of the transmitter. They also had another set of
contacts on the coaxial relay to ground the mute jack of the receiver,
if the transmitter didn't have a mute output of its own.
