   My opinion is:  The antenna change over relay should (with auxiliary 
contacts) enable the
application of B+ in the transmitter (and somehow mute the receiver) and 
the switch
controlling the antenna change over relay can be anywhere you want or is 
available,
as in an empty hole or an abandoned switch.  (or a foot peddle/lavaliere 
switch or on your MIC,)
whatever is convenient to you.
