[Antennas] disks that go under rooftop magnets

I have several "mag mounts" they all have a protective plastic surface
from the factory, 
IF you are looking for something more , it probably isn't needed. The
biggest problem I have had is moisture under the mag mount, I take mine
off and clean and dry the area on a regular basis. I have more damage
from the coax rubbing the finish than the mount just sitting there.
IF you have a mount that has only the magnets showing... it's ok to
throw it out and buy a new mount!!! It will cost less than a new paint
job on the car.
