I cannot do better than what has already been stated in the other
comments, only restate them. The ARRL also publishes Wire Antenna
Classics and the Antenna Compendium. However the ARRL Antenna
Handbook is one of the best places to start. Keep an eye out on Ebay
because I bought the latest edition on there complete with the CD for
about 25 dollars shipped. Less than half the cost of new.
Sign up for the WRNL site on www.antennex.com and also subscribe to
their guest rooms. There is an over abundance of antenna information
on that site. It's FREE.
