[Antennas] 160 on small lot

Ok......most replies are suggesting an inverted-l.......
Looking around on the net shows that the more radials the better.....except for Cebric (sp?)
who says a 1/2 wave inverted-l is pretty good without a lot of radials....can only fit 4 radials
at best here, so will be looking at how to zig-zag a 1/2 wave on through the yard.....
Another idea I came up with and would like some thoughts.......
Do have 2 fir trees over 100 feet tall.........
Idea is to wrap a vertical dipole on a tree......will not pass muster with the city, but no one
would be able to see it...no harm no foul, right?
Due to the taper in dia of the tree, what would be the best way to try to do the math on it to
try to reduce the cut and check process?
Will it even work?
If it will/does work, would it be worth trying to put another one up on the other tree (about 75
feet apart) and feed parallel with 300 ohm twin lead (have it on hand)?
Any one interested in attempting to model a vertical dipole wrapped around a fir tree? Then
try the pair?
