You're right...I didn't read the article.....
I have to admit I am not a fan of small antennas though....guess its because
I have been around AM towers most of my life
But then the average ham cannot have such an antenna and ground plane either
:)
I would think a decent vertical (30-50ft tall) with top loading would be
more efficient though....
