No.. It wouldn't work much better with lots of radials... It would work
better mounted high.. Again, as Robert says.. It's a DIPOLE ...( Although
actually, it's more like a Windom, stood on one end). There are no radials
in the equation. The whole raison d'etre of the R5/R7 is that they have a
very small footprint, BECAUSE they don't need radials.
