GM,
I have one that is a folded dipole on 102 Mhz. The antenna is made
from 300 ohm TV twin lead and the feed line is also 300 ohm TV twin
lead. The length of the folded dipole can be found using the
formulas for a half wave dipole, reduced by the velocity factor of
the 300 ohm line, which is about 0.8. If you want to receive in all
directions, the folded dipole in the shape of a S.
