[Antennas] coax question

John,
I did sort of the same thing you mentioned here, except we added this "sun
room" on the house, so I got to do it in the building stages. I had the A/C
man build up some boxes out of his duct material the size of a brick and
deep as the whole wall, and had the bricklayer mortar it in. I also slid
copper flashing material under the studs in several places so I could run
some copper tubing around the room inside and tie to ground outside where it
is handy, hi. Made a nice installation. Where I ran the ladder line
through the metal "box", I used a plastic electrician's "LB" fitting so it
would be flat against the wall, but angled down like you said, and a piece of
pvc through the box. Didn't seem to interfere with the ladderline at all. I
have three bricks in reserve so I can replace those "boxes" when I move, if
ever, hi. Maybe Larry can do a similar thing to what has worked for us.
The steel wool, insulation, silicon, etc. are essential here to keep the
cool and little critters out!!
73,
Don, WB5HAK
