You probably should truss your quad in the same manner as the Canadian
Gem quad, which was designed to withstand Canadian winters. They no
longer seem to be on the web. Does anyone know if they're still in
business? I have the following address: P.O. Box 291 , Boissevain, MB
R0K 0E0, (204) 534-6184. I also may have some pictures in my files of
their trussing configuration that you might use to copy the technique.
 If you're interested, I'll make a search.
