[Antennas] Dipole vs random wire

A random length of wire, often not fed with coax. It is not a dipole nor do
they have any standard known configuration. The length is random and the
design, also. In my case, I am going to run up from the shack, vertically
about 30 feet along the edge of the house and then across the yard for about
50 feet and then up into a tree about 50 feet high and then down the other
end of the tree about 40 feet. There is no rhyme or reason and no design.
I simply want to get as much wire out in the backyard as possible. This is
part of the fun for me, playing around with different antenna ideas and
trying them. Any thoughts on the design?
