Floridic acid is USED ALL the time on aluminum coils in Air Cond. units
and when properly dilluted and then rinsed well, will not cause a
problem...my own experience? the antenna in question has been in the air
now 75 miles from the Texas Gulf Coast since 1996....NO problems with
it at all...All the acid does (which is a WEAK acid btw) is dissolve
the Al-oxide on the antenna..it does not react with the aluminum itself
when properly applied.
