[Antennas] Lattin Five

Hello Don.. thanks for the info.
I have read a number of articles about them
and some comments on either this list or the
R390 list.
The noniductive resistance for about 800 ohm
at 50w was selling for about 95ドル.00. Ouch!
I can come up with a resistor network
that will give the resistance and wattage.
But, then I would need a 16:1 xfmer for
50 ohms. Arnie Coro I believe the name is correct,
describes one.
So reseaching I've come across the Lattin Five.
Seems economical and tunes five bands with one
feedline. So frequency shifting time is nil.
But one schematic shows the legs tied together
at the center conductor while another
paper shows the conductor open. So the
reason for the query.
My tuner (LDG) doesn't have memory, so
the lag time for quick frequency shift is too
long. So tuned feeder is out at the moment.
SGC tuners are beyond reach also.
I'm also contemplating a nine band trap. But
never build a trap neither.
Waiting for the mail to see how it was
described and the diagram should show
how to build it.
