Most of these types of little motors have Permanent Magnet Fields. If it's a
single voltage motor, you can identify it as a PM motor by the fact that only two
leads come out. If it is a PM motor, those leads are the armature leads. The DC
resistance will be very, very low ( usually decimals of an ohm ). If PM, you can
check the armature circuit by shorting the leads and turning the motor shaft. You
should feel even resistance to turning the shaft for full rotation when the leads are
shorted, and no resistance to turning when the leads are opened. If you need more
