George has the right idea. If 170 feet is more room than you have, you
might want to consider building the DEZ out of 450 ohm ladder line so that
the total length folds back on itself. This takes about half as much room
and works great on all bands. I use such an antenna here which is only
82 feet overall and works great on 75 thru 10 meters, plus MARS frequencies.
