    Squaresoft version: Comes in a double-CD jewel case. The liner notes have the same content as limited edition, except they're too big to fit in the jewel case and so they come separately outside of the case. The cover of the liner notes is also different. Also comes with the same sheet music to "Melodies of Life" that was included with the limited edition, except now it's printed on white paper; and a customer survey card.

    Comes in a double-CD jewel case with slipcase. Does NOT have an obi. The glossy liner notes fit inside the jewel case. They have the same content as the SS limited-edition version, plus they also include reproductions of 4 of the 5 sheets of artwork that the limited edition came with (the only one missing is artwork of what I *think* is the Hildagaldy; if anyone can identify that art for certain, please let me know).



    Interesting notes:
    • In the Golden Diamond version that I had, the catalog number GS-145 was printed on its slipcase, but had SG-145 on the jewel case. Couldn't make up its mind? ^_~ It may have been corrected in subsequent printings.

    • In the same Golden Diamond version that I had, the liner notes had printed on the back, below all the music credits, "Presented by SQUARE SOUNDS CO., LTD." The funny part is that sentence had been blacked out with permanent marker, though not well enough that I couldn't read what it said. Considering that the majority of bootleg companies try to hide the original company's credits, obviously that had been a mistake in printing that needed to be rectified somehow. ^_~ It may have been corrected in subsequent printings.


    Discs 1 and 2 of the following tracklist were romanized and translated by tennin on Soundtrack Central, with some of my own additions. His disclaimer: "May contain inaccuracies."
