Tracklist
Contains piano versions of selected songs from Final Fantasy IX for the PlayStation. There is a book, published by Yamaha Music Media, that has the piano scores to the songs on this CD. Go to

First pressing: Comes with a black, glossy slipcase. The piano on the slipcase is slightly raised and slightly darker than the rest of the slipcase. (Unfortunately, my scanner can't pick that up too well, so you can't see it in my scans.) It does NOT include an obi. The CD and all the text printed on it is also black, and again, my scanner can't pick that up, so all you see in the scan is a black circle. ^_~ The fold-out liner notes have the tracklist in mixed Japanese (kana) and English; sheet music to "Melodies of Life"; a profile of Louis Leerink; a photo of Shirou Hamaguchi, Leerink, and Nobuo Uematsu; a message from Uematsu; and photos of Leerink playing. Also comes with a customer survey card.
Squaresoft version: Everything is the same as the first pressing, except that it comes with an obi instead of a slipcase. Also comes with a survey card.
EverAnime version: There are 2 EverAnime versions that I've seen. I do not know which one is the more common of the two.
- First pressing: The only reason I'm calling this the "first pressing" is because this is the first EA version I came upon. It comes with a slipcase that is glossy all over. The word "Piano" is misspelled practically everywhere on the slipcase and liner notes as "Paino," but the word is spelled correctly on the CD itself. The fold-out liner notes have the same content as the Squaresoft version, but they fold out slightly differently. Also comes with a customer survey card. Does not come with an obi.
In addition, when I opened my CD, it had this picture showing in front. That's simply the "back" cover of the liner notes, and the "regular" EA versions have it also. I presume that when these were assembled, this side of the liner notes was put facing outward instead of the other side.
- Regular edition: Also comes with a slipcase, but this one has a matte finish while only the piano part is glossy. (And again, my scanner can't pick that up too well.) Everything is the same as the "first pressing" except the word "Piano" is now spelled correctly. Does NOT come with either a survey card or an obi.
Please note that there may be other EA versions available, such as ones that do not have a slipcase and have an obi. If there are, I haven't seen them for myself. These are simply the two I've come across.
