Yume Penguin Monogatari (夢ペンギン物語) é um jogo fracassado da franchise de Penta e de Pentarou. Ao invés de correr pra caralho, é um joguinho de plataforma como outro qualquer. Feito em 1991, pela Come na Mi.
História[editar ]
Pentarou está gordo de tanto comer (lógico...) e Hanako não consegue fazer com que ele emagreça. Então, Hanako troca de namorado, assim, partindo o coração de Pentarou. Porém, o novo namorado de Hanako, Ginji, é um penguin da máfia de bandidos, que comanda tudo em um mundo esquisito. Agora, ele ficou de vez com Hanako, e só depende de Pentarou pra salvar ela.

Plágiando um pouco Alex Kidd in Miracle World, YPM tem um objetivo que pode ser ruim no início: Pentarou como está gordo, ele fica lerdo no início, mas se ele tomar uns drinks, ele começa a emagreçer (basta olhar na barra de fitness). Ele pode dar chutes, esmagar inimigos, e falar Bo (ボ, seria Boo no engrish) em Katakana. Pentarou não deve cair na água, pois caso contrário, ele engorda de novo. Pentarou não pode comer também maças, bolo de arroz e outros itens, pois ele acaba engordando também. O game tem seis fases, algumas com chefes e outras não. No final, Pentarou descobre que Hanako também engordou.

- Drink: Faz com que Pentarou emagreça (quando aparecer Shape UP, é porque ele emagrece) assim melhorando os ataques e a velocidade;
- Relógio: Faz com que aumente o tempo (lógico...);
- H: Na terceira fase, Pentarou voa, tipo aquela bandeirinha colorida a toda hora do game Antartic Adventure. Nas partes de voar, o avião de Pentarou recebe um upgrade pra mísseis (FIRE!!!);
- A: Dá um Flashe e todos os inimigos viram pó;
- M: Lembra o mesmo item de Wai Wai World 2. Pentarou fica invencível por um tempo e corre pra caralho também;
