Welcome to UOW’s online application form. Applying to study at UOW is quick, easy and secure. How you apply will depend on your student type:
Domestic high school leavers
If you're planning on coming to University after completing your HSC, or the International Baccalaureate (IB), you can apply through the Universities Admissions Centre, (UAC).
Coursework degrees (undergraduate & postgraduate)
If you’re a non-school leaver (i.e. completed Year 12 longer than ~6 months ago and/or completed a TAFE qualification or equivalent), you can apply directly to UOW.

Apply to UOW as an international student
International students have several ways to apply for study at the University of Wollongong (UOW). Your options will depend on where you are currently based and your circumstances.
Option 1: Applying through a UOW representative or international agent
A UOW registered agent can help you with every step of the application process, from submitting documents and offer acceptance, to visa application. To find your closest agent please visit our agent list.
Option 2: Applying directly to UOW
In some cases, you may be able to submit a direct application. Your first step is to visit the Application Portal to find out more.
Option 3: Applying through the University Admission Centre (UAC)
International students who are currently studying an Australian secondary school qualification or the International Baccalaureate (IB) may choose to apply through the University Admissions Centre.
Higher degree research (HDR)
PhD, Professional Doctorate, Master of Philosophy, Bachelor of Research and Master of Research applicants can apply direct to UOW.

If you are an International student you should check UOWs general English Language requirements. Note that you will also need to understand the English language requirements for your student VISA.
All applicants for a Research Scholarship must submit two Referee's Reports (Online, to be completed by the referees).
