Energy Efficiency Testing and Certification

Helping you incorporate energy efficiency into product design to meet consumer demands and regulatory standards.

Conducting an energy efficiency test

Why is energy efficiency testing and certification important?

Globally, energy efficiency has been recognized as one of the most cost-effective ways of reducing energy consumption, reducing pollution, and improving energy security. As energy efficiency in-country regulations become increasingly strict and complex, our frontline expertise helps you navigate an ever-evolving regulatory landscape and demonstrate your products meet the relevant standards across global markets.

Energy efficiency testing and certification evaluates a wide range of products, including consumer electronics, household appliances, commercial kitchen appliances and many other products.

Why UL Solutions

UL Solutions Energy Efficiency Certification program

The Energy Efficiency Certification (EEC) program is a third-party certification program that helps manufacturers demonstrate that their consumer electronics, household appliances, commercial kitchen appliances and many other products meet the requirements of various global regulatory programs. Once a product is tested and complies with the requirements of the EEC program, the manufacturer is provided with the lab data package, energy efficiency certification and the standard marking level.
