The University of Tokyo established the UTokyo Compass Initiative (UCI) in April 2024, under the direct leadership of the university president. The aim of the Initiative is to promote the University's value creation activities based on diverse perspectives, including collaboration activities that contribute to the future of humanity and the planet, and to accelerate the realization of the principles set forth in UTokyo Compass through the establishment of an autonomous and creative university model.
