The largest ever crude oil tanker built, ‘ST MONT, ex Jahre Viking, ex Knock Nevis’ having a LDT of 83,598 M.T was recycled at our in-house green ship recycling yard.
We have recycled the longest passenger vessel ‘S.S. Blue Lady , ex SS France ,ex SS Norway.’ which contained high quantity of Asbestos. It was recycled in our facility by strictly following all necessary guidelines and protocols.

PBIL Management and its workers warmly welcomed the presence of our internal and external third party compliance monitors and their regular audits. They were fully transparent and open throughout - in fact in most of the cases they were voluntarily going beyond what was requested and were explicitly keen to raise their standards and learn from outside advisers.
The whole recycling process was well documented by our representatives and reports of the whole process showed performance in planned compliance. Furthermore, our suggestions were well awarded and during the recycling of the vessel and in our presence it was well noticed that newer and positive steps in relation to safety, environment and people were encouraged.
