Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) Between the Ministry of Justice of Japan and the Ministry of Justice of the United Kingdom

On July 6, 2023, Mr. SAITO Ken, the Minister of Justice of Japan and the Right Honorable Alex Chalk, the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice of the United Kingdom signed the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of Japan and the Ministry of Justice of the United Kingdom.

At the signing ceremony, they agreed to further enhance mutual understanding and cooperative relations between the two nations in the field of law and justice, and to establish a regular dialogue to promote the initiative for the prevalence of the rule of law in the international community.
