Courtesy Visit to the Minister of Justice by the Ambassador-Designate of Australia to Japan.

On April 24, 2026, Mr. HIRAGUCHI Hiroshi, Minister of Justice of Japan, received a courtesy visit by H.E. Mr. Andrew Shearer, the Ambassador-Designate of Australia to Japan.

Minister Hiraguchi and Ambassador-Designate Shearer, expressed their congratulations on the 50th Anniversary of the Signing of the Basic Treaty of Friendship and Co-operation between Japan and Australia, and exchanged views on further promoting cooperation in the field of law and justice.
