(2) Particular Points of Care at Mealtime

The proportion of responses with "do not eat while playing" to particular points of care at mealtime was large.

With regard to particular points of care at mealtime (multiple answers), "do not eat while playing" accounted for the largest proportion of 76.4%, followed by "greetings (say "thank you for the meal" before and after eating)" 72.5%. Meanwhile, "turn off TV" accounted for the smallest proportion of 29.2%.

According to sex and sibling composition, the proportion of "do not eat while playing" was the largest, followed by "greetings" regardless of sex and sibling composition, showing a tendency similar to the total (Table 12).
