State Minister Koga Holds Meeting with Mr. Peter Hanke, Federal Minister for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure of the Republic of Austria

On Monday, October 6, Mr. Koga Yuichiro, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with Mr. Peter Hanke, Federal Minister for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure of the Republic of Austria. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the field of innovation and other topics.
State Minister Koga welcomed the visit to Japan of Mr. Peter Hanke, Federal Minister for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure of the Republic of Austria. During the meeting, Mr. Koga expressed his appreciation for the participation of the Republic of Austria in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. Both sides took stock of the status of their ongoing bilateral economic cooperation.
In addition, both sides exchanged views towards implementing the Memorandum of Cooperation between Japan and Austria in the field of innovation signed in May 2025, and confirmed to continue their efforts to deepen bilateral economic relations.
