Minister Muto Receives a Courtesy Call from H.E. Mr. George Glass, Ambassador-Designate of the United States to Japan

On Friday, May 16, Mr. Muto Yoji, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. George Glass, Ambassador-Designate of the United States to Japan, and exchanged views on Japan-U.S. economic relations.
During the meeting, Minister Muto welcomed the appointment of Mr. George Glass, Ambassador-Designate of the United States to Japan. The minister explained the importance of developing a win-win relationship between Japan and the United States and conveyed Japan's position regarding the series of US tariff measures.
