On December 9th, Minister Nishimura held a teleconference with H.E. Gina M. Raimondo, United States Secretary of Commerce. Minister Nishimura and Secretary Raimondo exchanged views on topics including promoting the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF), cooperation in the field of semiconductors, EV tax credits under the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act, and cooperation on export controls.
