新ボホール空港建設及び持続可能型環境保全事業

サンゴ礁などの観光資源に恵まれているフィリピンのボホール州では、航空需要が急激に増加しており、今後の旅客数の伸びが期待されています。しかし、現空港の拡張は環境配慮の観点から困難な状況であり、国際基準を満たした安全で、十分な収容能力を備えた新空港の建設が必要となっています。この協力では、同州の州都対岸に位置するパングラオ島において新空港の整備を支援しました。環境に配慮しつつ、航空輸送に係る利便性と安全性の両立を図り、同地域における持続可能な成長に寄与しました。
