These international standards are the defining elements of the global information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure. Numbering for in-car communication (SG2)

sg2.jpgThe work of SG2 covers all aspects of numbering, naming & addressing. In the context of Intelligent Transportation System, SG2 specifically assigns international numbering ranges for in-car emergency communication calls.

QoS of Speech and Audio (SG12)

sg12.jpg SG12 focuses on enhancing quality of service of speech and audio in vehicles and develops international standards and delivers guidance aimed at enhancing road safety and user experience.

Vehicular Multimedia & Automated Driving (SG21)

sg16.jpgIn line with WTSA Resolution 104, ITU-T Study Group 21, established at WTSA-24, focuses on vehicular communication standards, including V2X, IMT systems, infotainment, ITS gateways, and AI in automated driving, continuing the work of the former SG16.

ITS Security (SG17)

sg17.jpgFocusing on security of Intelligent Transport Systems, SG17 developed a secure software update capability for ITS communication devices, and fosters public and private trust towards the emerging ITS applications worldwide.

IoT and Traffic Management (SG20)

Expert Group on Communications Technology for Automated Driving
