Title:"Gender Differences in Longevity: Recent Change in International Trends and Japan's Peculiarities"

Prof. Horiuchi is a world-class expert in demographic analysis of longevity/mortality. His is a co-editor of the recently published book, Human Longevity, Individual Life Duration, and the Growth of the Oldest-Old Population (International Studies in Population, Springer, 2006). This is a good opportunity to learn about the frontiers of study in this area.
